What you need to know about Insurance Claims
As you can see, one of Parrish Law's emphases is on insurance matters. Let us give you some general advice if you think you might have an insurance claim. In our experience, insurance companies would just as soon hang on to their money, all else being equal. Insurance companies have highly trained teams of adjusters, lawyers, accountants, inspectors, and other specialists that they can summon for every insurance claim made. On the other hand, most insureds have little or no knowledge of insurance matters and don’t have the skills or knowledge to deal with the team of people that the insurance companies use. Insurance companies can and do use that to disadvantage their insureds. For that reason, I would highly recommend that anyone with a potential insurance claim contact an attorney early in the process, preferably even before a claim is made. That is particularly true with disability insurance or ERISA disability matters. If you have a potential claim and have any doubts about it, please give us a call.
